Daymark is built to be private by design. Your profiles - names, birth dates, and expected lifespans - stay on your device. We do not have accounts, and we never sell your data.
Everything you enter in Daymark (the people you add, their birth dates, and expected lifespans, plus your app settings) is stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard storage. It is not uploaded to us or to any server, and it is removed when you delete the app or use "Reset Daymark" in Settings.
To understand how Daymark is used and to improve it, we use PostHog, a product-analytics service. Analytics captures anonymous usage information such as:
Analytics does not include the personal content you enter - names, birth dates, or lifespans are never sent. The data is not linked to your real identity and is not used for advertising or shared with data brokers. PostHog processes this data on our behalf; see the PostHog privacy policy for details.
Daymark is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Because your content lives on your device, you are in control of it: edit or delete any profile at any time, or reset the app entirely. If you have questions about analytics or would like related data removed, contact us and we will help.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above.
